Benchmark

Benchmark is an exciting new feature brought to you by MinerGate.
We designed this function to audit your computer’s potential in CPU and GPU mining. Run benchmark in our application and compare your mining power to the average of the community. Are you ready to do what it takes to be the coolest miner?
There are 9 steps to the process. First of all, benchmark analyzes your hardware and the other eight steps are dedicated to each coin from the application. You get different amount of points on every stage, their total is the result of benchmark. The whole process takes about two minutes. The analysis will detect some weak and strong sides of your mining machine.
In addition, benchmark can predict your possible annual outcome. The calculations are based on a complicated algorithm. Our system takes into consideration several variables. They include such factors of crypto economy as currencies’ fluctuations over the last year, their exchange ratio for the moment of benchmark, network difficulty, which is constantly changing depending on the average hash rate of the network. We also assume in the calculation that you will be mining for at least a year as the longer you keep mining, the more profitable it gets.
If any of these factors change, it can have an impact on the real profit, please keep that in mind.
Here are some instructions on how to run benchmark:
- Open the application.
- Click the Benchmark tab.
- Start Benchmark.
- Enjoy your waiting time.
- Get the results.
- Upgrade your computer, if needed.
P.S. In order to receive more accurate results, please close all programs and applications before performing the analysis.
Joining the competition is more fun, see our Top list and aspire to make it there. You can see our Top-25 here.
You can download the latest version of our application with benchmark on this page.

I would like to understand how someone with a similar (but lower) config to mine can get a score of 15635 when I only get 923
My config and score:
06 Dec 2016, 22:03 Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4590 CPU @ 3.30GHz, L3 6.0 MB, 15.9 GB RAM Ellesmere, 4.0 GB 923
Top 5 user’s config and score:

Thanks

Hello! Try to run it again please, as benchmark results may vary from time to time.
I think its only benchmarking your gpu when you first start the benchmark look at ..it will most likely say gpu initializing and then does its bench, you probably see 100-112 marks per coin .. so its only benching your gpu. 🙂 no idea how to change this to bench my cpus myself, ive been looking for the answer .
It works quite well for me
