Summing up MinerGate's project 'I am a miner'. Best stories. Part 1.

MinerGate has recently started a new massive project “I am a miner” dedicated exclusively to MinerGate’s miners. The project is about to shed more light on the lives of miners all over the world, specifically on their environment, wishes, goals, and dreams. Unfortunately, it is often the case that these people who carry the weight of blockchain on their equipment’s “shoulders” are forgotten or even mistreated. Traders and cryptoanalysts love to put themselves in a public eye, getting more and more attention. “I am a miner” was created to stop this outrageous favoritism. Altogether, we’ll remind everybody that miners play the most essential part in the crypto community and that they should be heard and respected.

MinerGate collected some of the most touching and sincere stories and now you’ll see them yourselves.

The first story came from Bob Teske, (KryptoSlag) who pointed out some crucial points of prejudice about miners.

“I am a Miner’  by definition means: ‘I LOOSE MONEY’, and yes, it’s a contradiction in terms at times. However, our goal as ‘miners’ is to improve an everchanging & imperfect monetary accounting system. ‘Our reward’ is countless hours of computer updates, restarts & programming. There is NO easy way to our accomplishments, which is also a contradiction. We scrounge & dig tirelessly like junkyard dogs for scraps from our ‘Utilities’ master, whom in truth are the ultimate regulators for our rewards, which is also a contradiction in terms.

Solo Miner, GUI Miner, CLI Miner, CPU Miner, GPU Miner, ASCI Miner, Side Miner, Phone Miner, Desktop Miner & Every type in-between are all in the same definition to ‘I am a Miner’. ‘Why am I a Miner’? Simple answer: I LOVE the challenge, I DREAM of the possible rewards & I BELIEVE I’m making a difference in the world! & I HOPE to see you on the leaderboards.”

Also, among the first people to share a life story with MinerGate was Risa.

“My name is Risa and I’m 35 years old. I live in Jakarta, Indonesia. I started learning to mine in February 2018. I am a private employee. I got to know about crypto from browsing on the internet. When I looked for a trusted mining site I found MinerGate. With only my handphone, I started to mine little by little and I developed it. Until now I have 1.3 mining cloud mining on BTC and 500 Hs in Cryptonight. Besides that, I have 1 RX 550 and 1 RX 570 hardware that I installed in my office to reduce electricity costs and data packages. I really hope my assets will keep on growing and growing. Thank you MinerGate.

Why am I interested in mining? Because crypto, in my opinion, is a very good future breakthrough. The world of technology is growing day by day and in my view, the blockchain is a very helpful technology where people cannot manipulate decentralized data.

Why did I choose MinerGate? Because on the internet, MinerGate is in accordance with my personality, and I can mine with my hardware or also can buy hashrate offered by MinerGate. Most importantly, several times I withdrew funds from MinerGate and it has always paid, unlike other sites that only pay one to two times and have become a scam. I believe that with the open system offered by MinerGate, it will grow rapidly and far from other scam sites. MinerGate is a trusted pool and continues to pay my withdrawals. Anyone can start mining on MinerGate with very little initial capital. One can even start mining with just a cellphone. I wish you always be successful, MinerGate.”

There’s another sincere and kind story is from Andrew.

“Hello, I live in the beautiful city Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, I was greatly encouraged by your project after I left the army, where I was a cook. After two years of service, it was hard for me to find a job, I did not want money from my parents so I decided to start mining. Half of the year later, I found out about your project and my first success was the mining of BCN. I started saving and, there was not much money at the beginning, but now, it’s been 3 years since I mine with MinerGate and I was very happy about it. I want to thank you very much because, with your project, I learned to appreciate time and money. I would like to thank you personally but there is not such an opportunity, if you are in Kiev, I will meet you and give you my time in return as time is the most valuable thing.

I do not claim to know everything about mining but it’s quite interesting. You give people a chance to earn so why not use this chance? Thank you very much for your work, I will actively take part in your project and wish you and all the miners on the planet good luck!”

If you haven’t found your narrative in this post, don’t be discouraged, it may appear in the next publications.

The number of stories that MinerGate team has received was immense and the MinerGate team would like to thank the community for all kind words, trust, and support.

We were so thrilled by these stories that we decided to start a flashmob #Iamaminer on Twitter next week. Follow our Social Media channels not to miss future updates and announcements as there’ll be plenty of nice bonuses and prizes given out. The details will be available in the nearest future.
