I have a number of bad shares, why do they occur and do I have to worry?
Bad shares usually mean that your computer was late to submit the correct solution and therefore didn’t bring you any profit for it. Naturally these ones don’t influence your mining process.
However if you are noticing a significant growth of bad shares amount in your Dashboard, we recommend to contact your ISP and diagnose your network for a subject of possible package loss.
If you are getting bad shares in Ethereum or Ethereum Classic, this could also mean that your DAG-file is damaged or corrupted. In this case we recommend deleting it and reinstalling your mining software.
